We are delighted to introduce a truly sustainable bulk bag manufactured from 100% recycled polymer.
Using recycled PET (rPET) material, rather than the traditionally used recycled
polypropylene (rPP), the process allows collection of used PET water/drinking bottles, many of which end up floating in our oceans or being sent to landfills and
transform them into high-quality, high-strength bulk bags.
Approximately 25 x 1.5-litre water bottles yield a kilogram of rPET material. The beauty of
PET is that it can be recycled endlessly and efficiently. Other advantages of rPET are that
bulk bags manufactured from this material have better abrasion qualities and a better
resistance to UV than traditional PP bulk bags. The achievable print quality using traditional flexographic printing methods is exceptional.
rPET bulk bags are suitable for use in a food-grade environment.
