Over the past ten years we have developed our export markets significantly. As a business we now export our bulk bags to over ten countries. Europe is a main area of growth for us but we also have customers in the Middle East, East Africa and North America.
Our overseas customers learn about Cliffe mainly through word of mouth. When a person has a good experience with a supplier they tend to talk. Consistency of specification and supply seems to be the main issue that bothers people. They are looking for a bulk bag supplier that will work with them to achieve a specific end goal. Price is not always the key driver.
Having said that, the number of enquiries from overseas customers has risen sharply over the past twelve months. We are finding that when we tender for business, we are as competitive as any one of our competitors. We can deliver full, or part container loads anywhere in the world within a 12 week period at very competitive prices. We work with specialist importing agents to provide a complete door to door service.
